Painted in 1981 by John Bailey, the Marilyn Monroe mural on the south-facing exterior wall of Salon Roi is one of the most recognizable murals within Washington D.C. A much-needed restoration of the mural was performed in 2020 to restore Marilyn to her full beauty.
